Using the site

Games is free. There are no accounts, ads or payments. It's a hobby, run for friends, and it comes as it is, with no warranty that it works, stays online or keeps any game you're playing. It may change or close at any time.

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss from using it. Nothing here limits any liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.

Be decent

Your name, and anything you type into a game such as a write-in card, is seen by everyone in the room. Don't use them to harass or threaten anyone, to share someone else's personal details, or to post anything illegal. Only share a room's link with people you want in it.

Rooms

We can remove any room, player or text at any time, for example to deal with abuse or to keep the site running. Rooms also close by themselves three days after the last thing anyone did in them.

Adult content

Cards Against Humanity is for adults only, with crude and offensive content by design. Don't play it with anyone under 18, or start it in a room where not everyone has agreed to it. The site as a whole isn't meant for children.

The games

The games based on published games are unofficial fan adaptations. They aren't affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by those games' designers or publishers. Game names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used here only to say which game you're playing. The rules are explained in our own words, and no official art is used. Credits says who made each game.

If you own the rights to one of these games and want something changed or removed, email harry@meetcodify.com and it will be dealt with promptly.

Licences

Parts of some games, such as card text and rules, are used under Creative Commons licences that forbid commercial use. Credits has the details. This site is non-commercial and will stay that way.

Privacy explains exactly what the site keeps about you, and for how long.
